Web Development Lead Location Indiana :
Description Franklin Electric is seeking a Web Development Lead to be part of our DCX (Digital Customer Experience) team that designs and builds customer-facing, web and mobile solutions. Our team primarily implements solutions utilizing the Optimizely CMS and Commerce systems, integrating with DAM (Digital Asset Management) and PIM (Product Information Management) systems. We leverage Agile development principles which is an essential factor for consistency in quality and delivery. The Web Development Lead supervises resources to maintain, and support assigned workloads. Works with customers and technical staff to resolve problems with software. Engages with Business Analysts to respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements to delivered software from customers. Collaboratively works with development staff on establishment and adherence to development standards and architecture. Works closely with business analysts to deliver technical solutions to business problems. Contributes code to product development and ensures that product quality is maintained, and that documentation is current and relevant. Participates in interviews and makes recommendations for additional staff. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Application Architecture - Assists in the architecture of applications and solutions
Software Development - Designs and codes applications/integrations to support business requirements.
- Completes necessary testing to ensure applications/integrations are completed with high quality.
- Completes documentation describing the functionality of the application/integration from a technical perspective.
- Provides accurate estimates of the time required to complete development tasks.
- Follows policies and procedures related to application methods and quality standards. May provide input to the Web Development Manager on the creation of the policies and procedures.
Service Operation - Responds to internal customers to resolve their technology problems.
- Enters and manages Incident and Service Request tickets in ServiceNow, IT Service Management Application.
- Provides technical support for custom applications and integrations used by Franklin Electric employees across all business functions.
- Occasionally provides off-hours support on evenings and weekends and participates in an on-call rotation as needed.
- Must maintain or exceed Service Level Agreements for Incident Resolution. This will be measured based on Incident Duration for the team.
- Analyzes Incident Tickets and performs root cause analysis to identify and prevent reoccurring problems.
Request and Change Management - Ensures all changes and requests are entered in ServiceNow.
- Ensures the fulfillment of end user requests for custom applications and integrations.
- Ensures changes are completed with proper documentation for SOX compliance.
- Reviews the forward schedule of changes for potential conflicts.
Project Management - Well-versed in Scrum with Scrum Master experience
- Participates as a resource on project led by others.
- Completes assigned project tasks on time and with high quality.
- Will lead projects related to custom applications and integrations.

- Meeting Facilitation - Plans and facilitates meetings of IT teammates, internal customers, or technology suppliers to share information and/or make collaborative decisions.
- Requirements Definition - Elicits and documents a clear, concise, and agreed set of internal customer requirements.
- Testing - Plans and facilitates validation activities to ensure a technology solution meets defined requirements.
Education and Experience - Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, related degree, or equivalent work experience (preferred).
- Seven-Ten years of related experience (preferred)
Computer Skills - NET development (preferably C# experience)
- JavaScript
- Microsoft SQL Server, knowledge of webservices, n-tier architecture.
- Proven competency in Microsoft Azure technologies
- Experience with Optimizely CMS (preferred)
