Technical Development Engineer

Position Overview
The Technical Development Engineer is responsible for leading the development and implementation of innovative technical solutions in the field of plastics engineering. This role focuses on optimizing injection molding processes and ensuring product quality, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of new injection molded products.
• Optimize existing injection molding processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with product development teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards.
• Conduct material selection and testing to ensure specifications are met for plastic components.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production issues related to injection molding.
• Document and present findings, reports, and recommendations to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in injection molding and plastics engineering.
• Willing to travel within your territory - 75% travel.
• Run a press and injection molding machine on your own.
• Experience with CAD software and design tools.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commercial/Sales Experience is a must.
