Job Description:

Cydecor is seeking a Senior Navy Structural Engineer to provide design and technical support to a Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) customer. There are several openings spanning human systems integration, electrical engineering, and naval architecture disciplines.

This role will support the management and execution of technical and design requirements for new and ongoing shipbuilding programs. Candidates should possess strong engineering and acquisition fundamentals, as well as expertise with surface and undersea shipbuilding programs.

Here's what you need:

• 10 years of experience with the engineering of structures
\n
• Experience with structural designs in the Navy or defense systems, including engineering related to R&D, T&E, and systems acquisition programs for Navy shipbuilding and defense systems
\n
• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team consisting of systems engineers, electrical and electronics engineers, acquisition professionals, and logistics and sustainment professionals to achieve program outcomes
\n
• Knowledge of naval vessel structural design specifications, standards, and practices
\n
• Ability to analyze mechanical designs through review of design artifacts

Bonus points if you have:

• Master's degree in Engineering
\n
• Professional Engineer Certification
\n

Security Clearance:

Minimum: Interim or Active Secret security clearance; Preferred: Interim or Active Top Secret security clearance.

Education:

Bachelor's level degree in an Engineering discipline. Master's degree preferred.

Work Schedule:

M-F, Onsite

Compensation and Benefits:

The anticipated compensation range for this position is $171,100 - $200,000. There are numerous factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the role, work location, education/certifications, and a contract's Labor Categories.
