This role is responsible for leading the financial management of the organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, forecast and planning of the region and adherence to labor law, US GAAP, tax law, other financial regulations and groupwide company policies.

Your responsibilities :

Financial Tasks:

• Preparation and presentation of financial statements, reports and analyses to local MD and shareholders.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Coordinate with external accountants for tax filings and any other services that may be needed.

Financial Planning and Strategy:

• Work with management and group functions on the budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Monitor financial performance and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Communicate financial performance and strategy to internal and external stakeholders.

Maintaining Accounts Receivables, Account Payables and Customer Credit Management:

• Oversee invoicing to customers, ensuring accuracy and adherence to payment terms.
• Preparing reports on accounts receivable aging and collection performance, identifying trends, and recommending solutions.
• Assess and manage credit limits for customers, as well as reviewing and updating credit policies.

Cash Management

• Managing and executing cash in and cash out.
• Monitoring and managing bank accounts.
• Securing liquidity.

Compliance and Risk Management:

• Ensure adherence to financial regulations, laws, and internal controls.
• Maintain effective internal control systems to safeguard company assets.

Your qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial management, with 2-3 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven experience in financial planning, analysis and reporting.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze complex financial data and develop actionable insights.
• Prior experience with working with US and Canadian retailers, including Amazon would be preferred.
• Proficiency in financial software, preferably with SAGE and SAP and advanced Excel skills required.
