Quality Control Assistant

Job Summary

The Quality Control Assistant provides support to the quality team to ensure that products meet the customer requirements and specification standards, assists in controlling documents per the ISO 9001 and Siemens standards. This includes verification and organization of internal Work Instructions, gathering and recording data, and assisting with obtaining documented evidence that supports the Company’s quality objectives. This position assists in quality improvement through data driven analysis .

Job Responsibilities

• Documentation control duties
• Process Documents internal processing of Customer Drawing changes & BOM Notes
• Verify Siemens created BOMs against Customer Furnished BOMs
• Update Process Sheets, Colorize Assembly drawings, Mark up PCB drawings
• Type, Publish, Update & Control Processes & Procedures/Floor Postings
• Update or Remove Quality Alerts for Production
• Verify daily release report
• Process Incoming Customer Return of Defective Product (RMA’s)
• Collect and Record Quality Data as Required
• Daily Track / status of CARs, Quality Alerts, & SCARs generated by Quality Engineers
• Assist in maintaining quality status reports, including data entry for analysis by QA Engineers
• Assist with the gathering of support data for First Articles.
• Assist Quality Engineers / Manager with general tasks as assigned

Job Skills and Qualifications

• A passion for accuracy and fine attention to detail
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills or strong desire to investigate issues and solve problems
• An ability to work well as part of a team or when working alone
• Desire to grow in the role
• Solid Computer Literacy with ability to utilize Microsoft Office software suite particularly Word and Excel and a working knowledge of Power Point.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.

Reports to Quality Manager

Minimum Education – High School required; Associates Degree desired
