THE OPPORTUNITY

Mitchell Anthony Capital Management ("MACM"), an Irvine based Wealth Management firm, is seeking a full-time Experienced Portfolio Administrator / Accountant to add to its team in support of its Portfolio Management Business. APPLICANT MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN PORTFOLIO ADMINISTRATION AND ACCOUNTING AND KNOW HOW TO USE INDUSTRY SOFTWARE SUCH AS ORION. Please do not apply if you don' t have experience.

MACM is an independent Registered Investment Advisor with $350MM in assets under management and a track record of Outperformance over the last 10 years relative to SP 500.

JOB OVERVIEW

The Portfolio Accountant will provide critical accounting and administrative support to the operations of MACM. Experience administrating portfolios required. Orion, Tamarac, or Advent Axys preferred. The candidate will be directly responsible for maintaining the majority of the financial records for the firm and its related businesses, as well as managing the payments to MACM vendors. The candidate will also perform tasks in support of MACM’s research process. Where applicable, the candidate should seek to optimize accounting and client related tasks to streamline and improve workflow.

PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS

The Portfolio Accountant will be an ambitious individual who has the ability to work with minimal direction and thrive in small-office environment. Experience in Portfolio Accounting software required. Orion or Advent Axys preferred. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is excited about the prospect of growing their career alongside a growing firm. The candidate will be detail oriented, organized and understand the value of their accounting work. The candidate must be thoughtful and have the ability to work carefully and diligently.

JOB REQUIREMENTS IN BRIEF

· Bachelor's degree in accounting or related analytical field.

· 3+ year(s) of relevant Portfolio Accounting experience as well as research experience.

· Strong intuitive, organizational, and analytical skills, as well as attention to detail

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel; generally adept with technology

· Ability to work with minimal direction and thrive within a small-office environment
