The Packer is responsible for checking proper weight of finished bags and packs into appropriate carton.
Core Responsibilities - Forms and stacks cartons.
- Checks individual bags for product weight and packs into box.
- Guides box through tape machine.
- Labels boxes and palletizes finished product.
- Sift product for possible foreign material. Must pass an eye exam.
- Inspect package seals for possible leakers.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- The plant environment will include wet or humid conditions (non-weather related), extreme cold and heat (non-weather related), working near moving mechanical parts, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and chemicals.
- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud when in the production area.
- Must be able to regularly lift 35 pounds.
- Vision requirement should be 20/40 for near and far vision.
