Job Title: Nuclear Medicine/PET Technologist

Location: Joliet/New Lenox, IL

Employment Type: Part-Time

Our team values professionalism, teamwork, and a commitment to excellent patient care. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Nuclear Medicine/PET Technologist to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:

· Perform high-quality Nuclear Medicine and PET scans following established protocols.

· Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.

· Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals to deliver accurate and timely results.

· Maintain imaging equipment and report any technical issues promptly.

· Adhere to all regulatory standards and facility guidelines.

· Obtain guidance from the radiologist and/or referring physician when order appears unclear or inappropriate.

· Performs other duties as needed and/or assigned.

· Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and compliance regulations.

Qualifications:

· Current registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).

· Licensure by the State of Illinois (IEMA).

· Prior experience in PET/nuclear medicine strongly preferred

· Strong attention to detail, communication, and patient care skills.

· Proven venipuncture skills.

· Ability to work independently and in a team environment, and the ability to work independently without specific supervision in a self-confident manner.
