Budget Rent a Car of Atlanta is looking to hire a Maintenance Clerk for our East Point location at our Maintenance Facility. The ideal candidate will have clerical experience, and knowledge of word processors and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain an accurate continuous inventory of all vehicles parts, and tires.
• Receive, and check for accuracy on all deliveries to the maintenance department.
• Match order parts with the proper vehicle.
• Inform manager of status of inventory.
• Assist manager with ordering parts for stock, and for individual vehicles.
• Perform other duties and special assignments as required.
• Issue, coordinate, maintain log, and summarize all purchase orders issued.
• Communicate with vendors to obtain information necessary to ensure the best prices for goods and services required.
• Operate a calculator, photocopier or other office equipment.
• Perform simple projects as assigned.
• In fleet process, making temporary tags, and entering information in the system.
• Entering all repair invoices and photographs in the system.
• Establish and maintain files and records as per work unit requirements.

Qualifications

• Clerical and maintenance knowledge of vehicles and trucks
• Computer literate
• High School Diploma and/or equivalent
• 18 years of age or older
• Possess a valid drivers license with a good driving record
• Able to lift at least 30 lbs. and work outside
