Job Description

A respected national law firm is seeking a Temporary Facilities Assistant to support a large-scale internal office move at its Washington, D.C. location. This is an ideal opportunity for a college student home for the summer or someone seeking short-term work with a dynamic and professional environment. The assignment is expected to last through July.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with packing and organizing boxes for internal relocations and hoteling setups
• Help move light furniture and office items (must be able to lift up to 50 pounds)
• Support the Facilities team by conducting walk-throughs of office spaces to identify move-related needs
• Perform daily inspections and tidying of hoteling offices
• Collaborate with the on-site Facilities team (Chuck, Toussaint, and Candace) to execute tasks related to space planning and relocation
• Handle miscellaneous facilities tasks and projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions with minimal supervision
• Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail
• Willingness to pitch in as needed and take initiative
• Prior facilities or office support experience a plus, but not required

Compensation:

$19 - $23/hr.
