Primary Duties and Accountabilities

The Manager of Project Engineering is responsible for leading large-scale capital projects, including initiatives focused on plant reliability, power uprates, and plant improvement modifications. Key responsibilities include:

• Capital Project Management: Manage all aspects of CapEx, including design, roadmaps, expenses, vendor and contractor management, etc.
• Engineering Governance: Provide strategic management, oversight, and governance of engineering activities in alignment with regulatory requirements and the operational needs of the nuclear fleet.
• Team Leadership: Manage and develop assigned engineering personnel to meet corporate objectives, emphasizing the delivery of high-quality engineering outcomes.
• Business Planning: Serve as a key participant in engineering business planning, budgeting, and performance review processes.
• Workforce Management: Fulfill full managerial responsibilities for assigned staff, including recruitment, development, compensation, and performance evaluations. Ensure consistent and effective workforce practices.
• Technical Leadership: Provide engineering and technical leadership—both directly and through subordinates—for short-term and long-term programs impacting fleet operations.
• Fleet-Wide Initiatives: Act as a senior contributor to nuclear-wide programs and initiatives aimed at standardizing and improving engineering systems and processes.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years total experience, including:
• 5 years years in a chemical plant environment
• 5 years in capital project management
• 5 years of supervisory or managerial experience
