Job Description

Dizario Search is seeking a skilled Distribution Manager to oversee distribution operations for an industry leading manufacturer near New Kingstown, PA. The Distribution Manager is responsible for managing the flow of goods from the manufacturing site, to customers, and receiving raw goods. This role requires strong leadership skills, a keen understanding of supply chain processes, and the ability to implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Duties

• Oversee daily distribution operations, ensuring that products are received, stored, and shipped efficiently.
• Manage warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and materials handling.
• Develop and implement strategies for process improvement to enhance operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with suppliers to procure materials at competitive prices while maintaining quality standards.
• Utilize data analysis skills to monitor performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse environment.
• Lead a team of warehouse staff, providing training and support to optimize performance.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and procurement activities.

Experience

• Proven experience in operations management within a distribution or warehouse environment, specifically in a manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with supply chain management principles and practices.
• Previous experience managing a team.
• Strong background in materials management, shipping, and receiving processes.
• Experience with DOT regulations is required for this role.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
