We are seeking an SAP Basis administrator to work with a client that is
the world s leading payment and financial technology provider. As part of the SAP Basis
Team this role will have responsibility for the SAP technical implementation, support,
and integration with other SAP modules and external systems. As part of the SAP Center
of Excellence (COE) the candidate will provide hands on leadership working individually
or with teams to support existing applications and participate in new projects.
Responsibilities
SAP Basis Administration for the S4, BW, PO, Solution Manager, BOBJ, SLD, GRC,
Open Text and SAP Cloud Connector components running on HANA/Linux and
SQL Server/Windows platforms in a high availability configuration using
Windows and Linux Clustering.
HANA 1.0 and 2.0 Database Administration and patching, including database
backup, restore and recovery in a high availability configuration using Linux
clusters. Experience with HANA replication.
SAP Single Sign on such as Kerberos tickets, SAML technologies
SAP Kernel patching, Upgrades and support package application for ABAP and
Java stacks. (SUM, SPAM and JSPM administration)
System copies/refreshes of S4, BW
SSL configuration for SAP systems,
SAP Buffer, memory management, performance tuning and troubleshooting
Document and Data Archiving (Open Text)
SAP GUI deployment and patching
Experience with disaster recovery concepts, planning and executing DR
exercises.
Transport Management using Charm on SAP Solution Manager.
Batch Job scheduling with Redwood/CPS software.
Linux and PowerShell scripting a plus.
Knowledge of SAP on Azure Cloud and cloud architecture a plus.
Minimum Requirements:
5+ years of experience with SAP Basis on the ECC 6.0, BW on HANA and/or
S4/HANA
2 years of SAP HANA Database administration, including replication
2+ technical implementations with direct hands-on experience with design,
architecture, configuration, and deployment of SAP landscape within a Microsoft
Windows and Linux server environment. Azure Cloud experience a huge plus.
Strong communication skills; effectively communicate with system users,
technical counterparts, functional teammates, middle to senior level technical
and business leaders
Strong process improvement discipline
Strong problem solving, error analysis, documentation and analytical skills
Strong teamwork orientation with peers and management, and a strong sense of
ownership and accountability
Knowledgeable in SAP technology (ECC, BW, BPC, Solution Manager/CHaRMs,
Opentext, BOBJ/BODS, GRC, PI/XI, CPS/BOA)
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology or
equivalent job-related experience
Experience handling and troubleshooting HA (High Availability) in Pacemaker
Cluster on Linux OS
Experience in HA (High Availability) on windows managing SAP applications
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven experience with SAP rollouts in Europe.
SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate SAP Integration
Suite or PI/PO).
Knowledge of Argentina-specific financial processes and reporting standards
