Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented DER Interconnection Support Specialist to assist with the end-to-end processing of Distributed Energy Resources (DER) interconnection applications. This role involves customer service interactions, application review, data management, reporting, and administrative support. The ideal candidate will be comfortable navigating engineering documentation and possess strong analytical and technical skills.

Schedule:3 days onsite and 2 days remote

Key Responsibilities

• Process DER interconnection applications accurately and efficiently.
• Provide responsive and professional customer service via phone, email, and other channels.
• Conduct a high-level review of engineering drawings to identify features requiring further engineering evaluation.
• Generate and redevelop reports using Power Clerk and/or Excel .
• Assist in the processing of customer payments and refunds.
• Support continuous improvement efforts in the interconnection process.
• Perform general administrative tasks such as scanning, copying, and uploading documents.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Review: Ability to perform a cursory review of engineering drawings to flag elements for engineering review.
• Software Proficiency: Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite ; experience with Power Clerk is highly preferred.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to support reporting and process improvement.
• Education: Associate’s Degree or higher in Business, Technology, or Engineering (preferred).
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
• Administrative Skills: Comfortable performing various administrative duties including document handling and data entry.
