Job Description

• Represent clients in business bankruptcy and creditors' rights litigation matters.
• Handle all aspects of cases in state and federal court, including pre-trial preparation, negotiations, client contact, court appearances, motions, discovery (including depositions), mediations, and trials.
• Manage complex commercial litigation cases related to bankruptcy proceedings.
• Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and provide strategic counsel to clients.
• Advocate for clients in both trial and non-trial settings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in business bankruptcy litigation.
• Experience in creditors’ rights and bankruptcy litigation experience in addition to proficiency in handling complex commercial litigation matters.
• Strong drafting, writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage cases independently and see them through to resolution, including trial.
• Licensed to practice law in Florida and in good standing with the Florida Bar.
• Excellent judgment, leadership skills, and ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Strong client-facing skills and a teamwork-oriented mindset.
• Excellent academic credentials.
