Pay Range: $18.00 - $24.80

Purpose

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for directing and overseeing the warehouse operations of each retail store. The position supervises warehouse specialists, order pickers and forklift operators; will support the Receiving Supervisor in managing the daily freight schedule based on customer and inventory needs.

Major Responsibilities

• Direct the daily scheduling of warehouse personnel to ensure proper manning for shipping and receiving products at the store in a productive and cost-efficient manner.
• Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory control.
• Manage Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and product staging.
• Maintain warehouse equipment with preventive programs and communicate repairs to the appropriate manager; ensure safe, efficient equipment for distribution functions.
• Lead warehouse safety programs to provide a safe and clean workplace in compliance with OSHA local and state regulations.
• Ensure associates are trained and following standard operating procedures.
• Model and enforce progressive disciplinary processes as needed to maintain a productive warehouse climate.
• Handle employee inquiries and resolve problems.
• Coordinate with other departments to facilitate efficient warehouse operations.
• Complete activity reports for management and monitor paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control Specialist for timely data entry.
• Resolve discrepancies with shipping, invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports.
• Execute Storage Buy Audit COP and ensure products are staged for counting and inspection.
• Store products properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures; oversee inventory rotation.
• Perform other related duties as directed by management.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience required (preferably in a warehouse or distribution center environment).
• Excellent interpersonal, team-building, delegating and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with other departments in the company.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Competent in basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong computer skills, with the ability to work in Windows-based systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Working Conditions

• Warehouse environment with moving vehicles; noise level typically moderate to noisy.

Physical/Sensory Requirements

Physical work ability to exert 3060 pounds of force occasionally and 2030 pounds of force frequently, with ability to handle, move or lift objects. Frequent use of hands and fingers; ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required.

Store Hours

Monday Friday: 7:00 AM 8:00 PM; Saturday: 8:00 AM 7:00 PM; Sunday: 10:00 AM 6:00 PM.
