Warehouse Worker

Location: Gorham, ME (On-site)

Rate: $20.00 - $22.00 hourly

Contract: 3 Months

This job duties below are an outline of a normal workday.

• Everything we do, we do with safety in mind.
• Picking orders using a forklift, pallet jack, or dolly. This includes filling out pick sheets and completing the necessary paperwork.
• Manual lifting is required.
• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Receiving and checking in inventory and putting it away.
• Inventory
• The normal work schedule is 7 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday. Occasionally we work over due to business needs.
• We are looking for someone who, with proper training, can take charge and complete tasks without supervision. Capability and willingness to learn new tasks daily.
• If eventually hired by company, there is vacation time and holiday pay. Including health insurance, 401K.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Job Requirements (Essential Functions):

• Must be able to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis as part of the job duties.
• Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including hot and cold settings.
• Basic proficiency in math, reading, and writing necessary to perform job tasks effectively.
• Must possess a valid, active driver’s license with a clean driving record, subject to motor vehicle report verification.
• Must be able to perform job duties in a reliable and consistent manner, including meeting physical and cognitive demands of the role.
• Employment is contingent upon passing a pre-employment drug screening.
• Prior forklift experience preferred; certification or willingness to become certified required.
