SUMMARY: Responsible for all aspects of our warehouse. Picking orders, building pallets, loading trucks, housekeeping, inventory control and adhering to safety standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Physical handling of product, materials, supplies and equipment.
  • Utilize a scan-based inventory system to manage orders and build shipments.
  • Build customer orders according to retailer standards and guidelines.
  • Operate industrial power equipment (forklifts) for lifting and moving product.
  • Stage completed pallets in the designated area.
  • Adhere to good warehousing and safety standards.
  • Responsible for meeting productivity & retailer requirements.
  • Maintain an orderly and clean work area to comply with Company’s safety and sanitation requirements.
  • Other duties may be assigned or requested.

Mandatories:

  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen
  • Must pass a background check
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be able to lift and/or move boxes weighing between 30-75 lbs
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be able to work flexible hours depending on the business needs
  • Forklift certification preferred

Benefits:

  • Starting pay ranging from $22-$25, depending on experience, with increases based on performance, safety and attendance
  • Bonuses are available for meeting quarterly goals
  • Paid vacation and sick days; PTO starts after 60-day probationary period

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.

COMPETENCIES: Demonstrated strong attention to detail. Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack or lift. Prior warehouse experience strongly preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Education and/or Experience:  High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze and interpret reports and work instructions in English. Ability to respond via text or email to common inquiries. Ability to speak and understand English.
  • Technology: Ability to use scanners and/or mobile devices to scan products, cases and pallets for accurate inventory and order management.
  • Reasoning Ability:  Ability to find solutions to warehousing and shipping problems.
  • Proactive mindset: Always seeking to get things done before being told to do so.
  • Results driven: A passion for excellence and a strong desire to do things right the first time.

Computer Skills:  Basic computer skills are a must. Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook. Basic Excel knowledge. 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:  Certified Forklift License strongly preferred.

· Repetitive use of the hands/arms/shoulders required in completing the required work.
