About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Supply Chain to provide senior leadership and strategic direction in supply chain management. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of supply chain strategies, policies, and practices that align with the company's mission and values. This role involves overseeing a large budget, including significant capital expenditures, and a substantial staff. The Vice President will be tasked with envisioning and articulating an integrated supply chain that meets patient expectations and maximizes cost savings. They must also be adept at building collaborative relationships with various stakeholders, including facility administration, physicians, clinicians, vendors, and group purchasing organizations. Applicants for the Vice President of Supply Chain position at the company should have a B.S./B.A. in a relevant field and at least 10 years of leadership experience in supply chain management and logistics, with a minimum of 5 years in healthcare. The role requires a strategic thinker with a strong results orientation, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to influence and negotiate with diverse groups. The ideal candidate will be a creative, organized, and strong communicator, with experience in managing multiple sites in an integrated delivery network environment. An industry certification in supply chain management is preferred. The Vice President will be expected to champion the continuous development of supply chain personnel and to ensure the organization is responsive to changes in the healthcare environment.
