Pride Health is currently seeking candidates for an Ultrasound Technologist position that will provide support to our client's healthcare systems in Greenbrae, CA 94904. Schedule: Days (8x5)
Shift: M-F with EOW (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
Pay Range: $2500-$2800/ Gross Weekly
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist with specialized experience in breast imaging. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ultrasound diagnostics and proficiency in breast ultrasound procedures. Certification in Breast Ultrasound (CBTS) is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform ultrasound examinations with a focus on breast imaging to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
· Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to ensure comfort and cooperation.
· Operate ultrasound equipment effectively, ensuring optimal image quality.
· Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information.
· Maintain patient records and document procedures according to department standards.
· Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures.
· Maintain certification and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
· Current certification as an Ultrasound Technologist (ARDMS required).
· BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
· Certified Breast Sonographer (CBTS) credential preferred.
· Proven experience performing breast ultrasound exams.
