Job Overview United Steel Products Inc is hiring a dependable and motivated Truck Driver / Door Installer Apprentice to support our field operations. In this hands-on role, you'll drive a company flatbed truck to job sites and work alongside experienced installers to learn how to install and repair overhead doors, rolling steel doors, and dock equipment. Key Responsibilities - Safely operate a 20' flatbed truck to transport tools, doors, and materials to job sites
- Assist experienced technicians with the installation and repair of commercial door and dock equipment
- Load and unload heavy mechanical components (50-75 lbs.)
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance and workspace
- Follow safety protocols on-site at all times
- Participate in hands-on training in mechanical, electrical, and construction tasks
- Perform basic site prep and cleanup duties
- Represent United Steel Products with professionalism and respect at every site
Qualifications - Valid NY Driver's License for 3 years with a clean driving record
- Experience driving a 20' flatbed truck required
- OSHA 30 Certification and NYC SST card required
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Construction background preferred
- Mechanical or electrical knowledge a plus
- Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks
- Positive attitude and professional appearance required
- Willingness to learn and grow into a skilled installation role

Schedule - Monday through Friday
- Overtime and weekend work required based on project needs
Work Location - Based in the NY Metro Area
- Primarily onsite field work, including loading, driving, and installation support
