Job Details:

\n

• Work under the direction of a Radiologist performing invasive procedures to aid in pathological evaluations
\n• Must have 2 years of experience with IR procedural and hands-on scrubbing in procedures with physicians
\n• Overtime after 48 hours
\n• Explain examination procedures to patients and prepare them for examination
\n• Obtain additional patient medical history information as necessary
\n• Prepare prescribed contrast media, medications, and IV solutions for patient administration
\n• Review clinical data, analyze patient anatomical structure, and set up equipment following protocols
\n• Assist Radiologist in performing complex diagnostic invasive procedures
\n• Prepare and set up sterile equipment, physiological monitors, pressure injectors, and imaging equipment
\n• Ensure adequate supplies are on hand and properly stored, replenishing as appropriate
\n• Actively assess patient condition before, during, and following all procedures
\n• Manually control equipment to obtain proper diagnostic information
\n• May assist with training new personnel and/or students assigned to the division
\n• Perform all imaging procedures demonstrating radiation protection principles
\n• Complete PACS and RIS functions including image exceptions, quality delivery, and study indexing
\n• Perform Quality Assurance procedures and maintain medical record documentation
\n• Utilize independent judgment for imaging techniques, patient positioning, and safety practices
\n• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
\n• Must maintain Healthcare Provider certification (BLS)
\n• Must be registered with ARRT with advanced registry in CI, VI, or CV
\n• Experience with IR lab, scrub role, emergent cases, embolization, and neuro intervention preferred
\n• Familiarity with Siemens equipment and knowledge of CT spin operation preferred
\n• ACLS certification preferred
