Overview:

We’re looking for an experienced Tool & Die Technician to support metal stamping operations by servicing progressive dies, fabricating fixtures, and ensuring our tooling performs at peak efficiency. If you’re a hands-on problem solver with strong machining and precision skills, this is the perfect opportunity to grow with a stable, quality-driven manufacturer.

Monday - Thursday 4:00 PM - 2:30AM, overtime on Friday as needed
$24.00 - $28.00/hour depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Sharpen cutting tools for lathe operations

• Turn materials to specified diameters on a lathe

• Cut internal and external diameters and angles using lathe equipment

• Machine internal and external threads

• Operate and understand milling machines

• Apply knowledge of metal chemistry, properties, and hardness

• Perform heat treatments to achieve required hardness

• Build complete die sections

• Break down, repair, and sharpen progressive dies

• Design, maintain, and build gauges, tools, dies, and fixtures

• Set up, calibrate, and run machinery and equipment

Skills and Experience:

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Tool & Die Technician in a manufacturing environment

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

• Trade School Certification

• Proficiency in AutoCAD
  
  
• Experience setting up and operating EDM machinery
