Bruriah High School and Middle School for Girls is seeking a warm, dynamic educator
to teach high school Biology as well as Middle and High School Introduction to
Engineering for the 2025–2026 school year. The ideal candidate will be committed to
fostering Bruriah’s positive school culture, which emphasizes four core values: joyful
learning, personal growth, self-confidence, and meaningful relationships. The candidate
will inspire curiosity and critical thinking in our students through engaging, hands-on
lessons that connect STEM concepts to real-world applications. Our students at Bruriah
have designed award-winning STEM inventions for various STEM competitions, and we
are seeking faculty who will continue to develop our students’ passion for STEM
learning. This position offers a unique opportunity to help shape the next generation of
female leaders and innovators through meaningful and impactful instruction.
Responsibilities:
● Develop and deliver engaging STEM lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
● Differentiate instruction to support the diverse needs of learners.
● Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback to students and parents.
● Foster a positive and collaborative learning environment.
● Collaborate with colleagues to support student success and curriculum alignment.
● Manage the classroom to encourage positive behavior and active participation.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Engineering, Education, or a related field (Master’s
preferred).
● Experience in secondary education or related STEM fields.
● Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
