Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their team! This position is located in Denver, Colorado.

Duties:

• Perform platform systems management including installation, connectivity, access, and availability
• Provide engineering support for development, performance test and operations teams
• Collaborate with junior and senior engineers, project managers, and executives, from multiple organizations
• Perform security activities such as patching, CVE remediations and scanning
• Help continually improve processes, automating solutions or simplifying support for lab tenants
• Evaluate existing systems to understand capabilities and recommend solutions
• Perform configuration management using Ansible or Chef
• Perform infrastructure management using Terraform
• Perform users access management using Active Directory and Atlassian Crowd

Desired Skills/Experience:

• 2+ years of System Administration experience
• Proven ability to work well with internal clients, including development, operations, and QA teams
• Experience in using ticketing and software tools
• Linux system administration experience
• Experience with virtualization templates, base images, VMs provisioning and de-provisioning using vSphere
• Familiar with VMWare and ESXi technologies
• SCM systems such as: Gitlab and Atlassian Bitbucket
• Experience in an MSO environment
• Basic shell scripting, or Python programming experience
• Experience with security tools such as Crowdstrike Falcon, SentinelOne, Qualys and SNMP
• SSL certificates requisition, procurement, installation, and validation
• Code coverage tools such as Sonarqube
• Scripting and automation experience using languages such as Python, Golang, PowerShell or Shell scripting
• Experience with CI/CD systems
• Experience creating documentation such as how-tos and troubleshooting articles
• Experience with ticket tracking systems

The approximate pay range for this position starting at $75,000 - 105,000 . Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
