Our client is seeking a senior Network Security Engineer for a long-term contract opportunity with our client in Albany, NY. This position is onsite with a NY state government agency. Please apply to today if interested!

Pay rate range: $65-$75hr w2

Role Details:

50% work - Senior Security Engineer
Designs, develops, engineers, and implements solutions for projects such as biometrics, smart cards, Secure remote access, VPN, Intrusion detection, port scanning, web security and vulnerability assessments and remediation.

50% of work - Network Security Engineer
Manages the identification and reporting on risk assessments and updates evaluations in order to determine and forecast operational needs and changes. Provides presentations on reporting and operational enhancements and metrics with special focus on variance analysis. Establish risk management policies and procedures, and guidelines on risk limits. Provides fraud expertise on services to internal and external customers. Develops system enhancements and meaningful reporting and operational management reporting tools and web-based tools and programs to manage, prevent, and mitigate risks. Identifies problems and recommends solutions to risk assessments.

Pay Details: $65.00 to $75.00 per hour
