Job Description

Our real estate client, in partnership with CV Resources, seeks a talented Senior Financial Analyst to join their Corporate Finance and Accounting Team.

This role is a superb role to consider for exposure to C-Level executives and other functions within our client.

Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst

Location: near Marina del Rey

Job Status (direct hire, consulting, consulting with possibility of hire) – This role is a direct hire role.

Job Site Status (onsite/hybrid/remote) – Our client has a hybrid job site status of three (3) days/week.

Compensation – Salary range is $120,000 to $130,000/year. Our client offers health insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid time off (PTO). A discretionary bonus is also offered.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST

Finance

• Draft and general monthly financial reports.
• Perform variance analysis between budgeted and actual figures for each real estate project on a periodic basis, including expense analysis.
• Update cash flow projections.
• Incorporate Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), variance reporting, and the organization’s financial results into the reports.

Financial Reporting

• Provide timely, accurate financial reporting to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.

Miscellaneous

• Identify and implement process improvements, including any technology advancements.
• Accept all relevant tasks as given by upper management.

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a comparable major.
• At least three (3) years of progressive FP&A accounting experience.
• Superior financial modeling experience

Preferred

• CPA or MBA
• Prior work experience at a public accounting firm before transitioning to private industry.
• Prior work experience at a Big 4 or national accounting firm.
• Prior employment at an investment management/asset management firm.

• Superior Excel skills

Interpersonal

• Self-starter who can take the initiative and work with minimum supervision.
• Superb analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Impeccable communication skills.

Preferred

Technical

• Proficiency in a major Data Analysis tool such as Power BI or Adaptive Planning.
