Overview:

The Senior Field Applications Engineer is responsible for proactively supporting power solutions across a range of market opportunities. This role involves close collaboration with business development and customer service teams to provide both pre- and post-sales technical support. Key responsibilities include assisting with product selection based on application requirements, supporting installation from electrical, mechanical, and thermal perspectives, and troubleshooting customer systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate technical concepts, power architectures, and product positioning to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain business relationships directly with customers and through distribution partners.
• Gather and interpret technical requirements and system architecture to coordinate with internal engineering teams.
• Build and sustain strong customer relationships throughout the sales cycle.
• Review customer schematics and provide technical feedback.
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email.
• Conduct regular customer visits (30-50% travel required).
• Lead technical seminars and deliver product training to representatives.
• Support hands-on product evaluations and demonstrations.
• Contribute to application note development under the guidance of the FAE manager.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5-7+ years of experience in analog/power supply design or applications engineering.
• Strong practical electronics skills.
• Solid understanding of analog circuit design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
