We are seeking a Senior Family Law and Civil Attorney who provides compassionate, strategic representation and can manage complex cases from inception to resolution. This candidate is skilled in

leading cases and mentoring associate attorneys, with strong litigation experience and excellent client-relations skills. This individual will serve as both a strong advocate and a trusted advisor, committed to client success and teamwork within a dynamic legal environment.

Requirements

• J.D. and NC State Bar
• Demonstrated experience practicing in Wake County and surrounding jurisdictions, with familiarity with local court procedures and judges.
• 6+ years of experience practicing family law, with demonstrated success handling complex family law and domestic violence cases.
• Strong advocacy and courtroom skills, with the ability to manage hearings, mediations, and trials independently.
• Proven experience in civil litigation, including pleadings, discovery, negotiation, and trial.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, settlements, and agreements.
• Supervise and mentor associate attorneys.
• Conduct client consultations and provide strategic legal advice.
• Exceptional legal writing, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent client communication and relationship-building abilities, with a compassionate and professional demeanor.
• Proficient with CRMs, case management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite

Bonus Experience

• Experience with Clio Grow & Clio Manage
• Bilingual in Spanish
