Senior Data Engineering Advisor

What you’ll achieve
As a Senior Data Engineering Advisor, you will be responsible for working with cross-functional teams across Dell to develop a vision, strategy and roadmap for data and analytics solutions. You will be responsible for leading the product vision from ideation through development and launch phases.  

You will:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build assigned solutions, ensuring  optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data

• Partner with both internal & external sources to design, build and oversee the deployment and operation of technology architecture, solutions and software while d esigning, developing and program methods, processes and systems to capture, manage, store and utilize structured and unstructured data to generate actionable insights and solutions  

• Translate customer and stakeholder needs into clear product requirements and user stories  

• Lead cross-functional teams through ideation, development, and launch phases along with p resenting product updates, roadmaps, and performance metrics to leadership and stakeholders

• Prioritize product features and enhancements based on business impact, user feedback, and technical feasibility

Essential Requirements

• 8 to 12 years of experience using data technologies to deliver cutting-edge business intelligence solutions

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate big data platforms and solution designs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Knowledge of key data engineering technologies, including Big Data Tools, Cloud Services, Object-Oriented or Object Function Scripting Languages

Desirable Requirements

• MBA Preferred

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $145,000 - $180,000.
