Job Description

We are recruiting a Senior Accountant for a rapidly growing company in the greater Raleigh area. Responsibilities:

• Lead key areas of the monthly and year-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis
• Prepare and review internal financial reports, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Maintain financial schedules related to prepaid expenses, property taxes, interest accruals, and debt amortization
• Manage fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals
• Calculate and record inventory and COGS entries; work with operations to resolve variances
• Support budgeting and forecasting efforts
• Assist with lease accounting and compliance with relevant reporting standards
• Contribute to process improvements, systems upgrades, and internal control enhancements
• Take on special projects and ad hoc reporting at the request of the CFO and leadership team

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CPA-track strongly preferred
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a general ledger-focused role
• Strong grasp of GAAP and experience preparing full financial statements
• Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with accounting systems
• Excellent communicator who thrives in a collaborative, evolving environment
• Prior experience in manufacturing is highly preferred
