Job Description Our client is looking for a seasoned Scrum Master to support a dynamic MASC-F (Missile and Space Command - Force) team in support of the Missile Defense System. Key Responsibilities: * Facilitate all team level events (PI Planning Team Breakouts, Sprint Planning, Daily Stand Up, Feature Elaboration, Sprint Review & Retro) * Provides timely and accurate reporting of impediments, blockers, and risks to their Release Train Engineer * Work with Release Train Engineer to set performance and growth targets for their teams * Guides mentoring and development of agile team members * Participate in Scrum of Scrums, Inspect and Adapt, and any ad hoc sessions called by RTE or Agile Coach * Responsible for coordinating cross-team collaboration and dependencies and reporting them to the RTE * Ensures teamwork, progress, and artifacts are transparent to all designated stakeholders Required Education/Experience: * Must have a current and active DoD SECRET clearance * BS in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or another relevant engineering field from an accredited university program plus a minimum of 5 years of progressive and relevant experience. * Familiar with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) * Able to effectively communicate across all levels of the program * Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum workflow and Kanban * Strong problem solving and analytical skills * Ability to lead and facilitate all Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives). Desired Skills: * SAFe Scrum Master certification * Jira - issue tracking and agile project management, or similar tool * Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams * Familiar with Agile project tools Verison1/Agility or Jira
