Employment Type: 12-Month Contract

Pay Rate: $21.42/hour on w2 (NOT open to C2C)

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Scientist to join a team in the tobacco manufacturing sector. The role involves executing testing activities for materials and finished products, ensuring accurate and timely results, maintaining laboratory equipment, and providing technical support across projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct material and finished product testing in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Generate and review laboratory data for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to procedures.
• Maintain laboratory documentation in line with Quality Requirements Manual and regulations.
• Participate in cross-functional technical teams to support ongoing projects.
• Manage product/prototype inventory.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to conduct data analysis and prepare reports.
• Laboratory management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related STEM field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office for communication and data entry.
• Experience or familiarity with product development in a regulated industry.
• Capability to assemble small-scale products and work with analytical tools.
• Familiarity with quality systems such as GMP/GLP.
