Job Title: Sales Support Specialist

Location: Mount Angel, OR (On-Site)

Compensation: $32.50 – $35.00 per hour + End-of-Year Discretionary Bonus

Employment Type: Full-Time, Hourly

Jennie Joiner with The Forum Group PNW has a leading grower and distributor of high-quality nursery products seeking a Sales Support Specialist to join their team. Our client serves some of the largest national retailers in the U.S. and is rooted in values of collaboration, long-term relationships and they take pride in the work they do as well as the people they work alongside. This is not a sales role in the traditional sense—it’s a customer relationship role that plays a vital part in keeping their largest retail customers (including national big-box stores) supported and stocked. You'll be working closely with the National Sales Account Managers, reviewing inventory, analyzing sales trends, and providing exceptional support to ensure smooth communication between operations and the buyers at big box stores.

Key Responsibilities

• Support National Account Managers with customer relationship tasks and sales coordination
• Review and analyze inventory levels to ensure timely and accurate replenishment
• Provide store-level support by interfacing with retail staff to resolve issues and maintain strong relationships
• Use internal systems and Excel to track sales trends and performance metrics
• Assist in developing accurate sales forecasts and analytical reporting
• Generate store credit authorizations as needed
• Stay informed on the full product mix to provide accurate support
• Perform additional tasks to support company goals

Experience

• Strong customer service background —you genuinely enjoy building relationships and solving problems
• Detail-oriented and organized with excellent follow-through
• Proficient in Excel (intermediate to strong level preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical thinker with good judgment and time management skills
• Previous experience in a nursery or horticulture-related industry is a plus but not required
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a bonus, but not required
• Degree not required—relevant experience is valued
