About the Client:

Metric Search is now working with a leading paint finishing & filtration equipment distributor on an exciting new assignment. Our client has a national presence and is experiencing continuous growth. Our client has expressive values and a clear vision to provide its customers with the best solutions on the market. They’re product portfolio focuses on industrial OEM and automotive accounts.

Sales Account Manager:

The Sales Account Manager is in charge of growing the territory’s revenue in all industries that are covered. They are directly responsible for hitting targets, obtaining new customers and growing accounts. You will be expected to travel amongst the territory to sell a leading finishing equipment brands (Graco, Sames, Binks, Carlisle), as well as parts and service. You will take over existing accounts but also be expected to find new customers to do business with.

Key responsibilities :

  • Actively seek new leads and business
  • Meet with existing and prospective customers to sell leading finishing and filtration equipment brands and service contracts
  • Identify and initiate action plans to penetrate new markets
  • Grow existing accounts in the region
  • Participate in the daily sales activities

Qualifications:

  • 5 years’ experience in industrial equipment sales experience, preferably selling to manufacturing end users
  • Experience selling paint, coatings and/or associated equipment is highly preferred

Skills/Personal Qualifications:

  • Willingness to travel within the territory (Sioux Falls)
  • Proven ability to sell and educate on technical products
  • Self-starting attitude towards sales
  • An excellent communicator with management experience
  • A critical thinker who requires little guidance to solve problems
  • High energy, self-driven person with an entrepreneurial outlook to business
