Retail Superintendent Position Overview The Retail Superintendent will oversee the construction and operational readiness of retail spaces, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. This role will involve collaborating with various teams during night shifts to provide guidance and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities - Oversee the construction and renovation of retail spaces, ensuring projects meet timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Develop and implement operational procedures for new retail locations, ensuring readiness for opening.
- Train and supervise staff involved in the construction and setup processes.
- Address any issues that arise during the construction phase, providing solutions and support as necessary.
Qualifications - Proven experience in retail construction management, preferably with Walmart or similar large-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of retail operations and layout design.
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to varying work schedules.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
