An established equipment supplier is seeking a Repair Technician to join its growing team in Southeast Virginia. This role is responsible for performing equipment repairs, routine maintenance, and occasional on-site service.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform equipment diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance both in-shop and at customer job sites
• Use hand, power, and diagnostic tools to inspect and service machinery
• Install and test equipment while providing customers with proper usage instructions
• Provide training on equipment as needed
• Answer client inquiries and provide technical support over the phone
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked service vehicles and shop workspace
• Conduct routine maintenance on company service vehicles
• Accurately complete service documentation and time/inventory tracking for all jobs

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of hands-on experience as a service or repair technician, preferably in the rental or equipment industry
• Mechanical aptitude with experience using standard diagnostic tools and repair equipment
• Strong time management, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Forklift certification preferred
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor environments
• Basic verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to documentation accuracy
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
