Airswift is seeking a GOA Engineering Specialist to join one of our major clients in the oil and gas industry. This is a full-time, office-based contract role with some remote flexibility, offering a great opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects in the Gulf of Mexico Business Unit.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting both short- and long-term planning, ensuring financial compliance, streamlining data flows, and executing projects efficiently across operational support groups, assets, and plants.

Role Overview

• Support the GOA PM Financial Planning & Evaluation Department with financial planning and control.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather, reconcile, and analyze operational and financial data.
• Create tools and reports that enhance data visualization, analysis, and decision-making.
• Identify and implement efficiencies in data management and reporting workflows.
• Retrieve and analyze complex datasets from corporate systems.
• Prepare economic analysis outputs and executive reports.
• Participate in knowledge transfer and provide support for special initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications

Required:

• Strong knowledge of data analytics and reporting concepts
• Proficiency in SharePoint, Power BI, Excel (including Power Query), Word, and PowerPoint
• Experience with oil and gas economic software
• Basic finance and accounting principles
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills
• 5+ years of experience in the oil and gas or energy sector
• Associate degree or higher in Information Systems, Finance, Math, or Data Analytics

Desired:

• Experience with Peep or Mosaic software
• Proficient in SQL and SAP data extraction
• TIBCO Spotfire or Power BI dashboard creation experience
• Familiarity with SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM), including:
• Breakdown, preventive, and condition-based maintenance
• Functional Locations, Equipment Masters, BOMs, and Task Lists
• MoC processes for CMMS and data governance best practices
• Integration with third-party systems and SAP Fiori
• Strong communication skills and the ability to deliver SAP end-user training
• Experience in continuous improvement programs and managing SAP PM Change Requests
• 7+ years SAP ERP PM experience preferred
