About the Role

Iowa Rotocast Plastics Inc. would be nowhere without its successful sales team. We’re seeking a qualified sales representative to help sell the products and services that our customers rely on. The sales representative will have a strong understanding of the sales process, building relationships, closing deals and manage long term relationships with impeccable follow up. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner who has strong negotiating skills and an ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Often tasked with giving presentations and attending networking events and trade shows, the sales director must be both personable and professional.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate new leads through various methods (cold calling, networking, referrals, etc.)
  • Research potential clients and industries to identify opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Develop and implement territory action plan using comprehensive data analysis and adjust sales techniques according to interactions and results in the field.
  • Understand customer needs and provide solutions by presenting and demonstrating products and services.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations to showcase the benefits and features of products or services.
  • Address customer inquiries and objections effectively.
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and goals set by the company.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date sales records and reports.
  • Close deals and finalize contracts with customers.
  • Stay up to date with product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor information.
  • Provide accurate and detailed information to customers.
  • Provide excellent post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Address any concerns or issues promptly and effectively.
  • Contribute to the development of sales strategies and tactics.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Required Skills

  • Ability to travel at least 30% of the time to customer meetings and events
  • Proven experience in sales
  • Industry knowledge and experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Results-driven and target-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency within sales management software and CRM
  • Proven success rate at levels above sales quota
