Job Description

Simbe Robotics is building Tally, an autonomous mobile robot for the world's retail industry. Tally helps in-store teams by collecting and analyzing on-shelf product data and providing actionable insights. As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Simbe Robotics, your role is to assess software quality through manual and automated testing, finding and reporting bugs and improvement opportunities, and collaborating with our web and software development teams. \n

• Testing: Conduct thorough testing of web applications and systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with the Web Development team to identify system requirements and plan testing activities.
• Debugging: Find, document, and report bugs and glitches to the development team.
• Improvement Recommendations: Recommend changes and improvements to software applications and systems.
• Technical Documentation: Develop comprehensive reports about system evaluations and testing results.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer, Tester, or similar role, specializing in web-based applications.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks, regression testing, and various testing tools.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Exceptional communication skills with a keen eye for spotting errors and inconsistencies.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
