JOB SUMMARY

The Procurement Coordinator will support the procurement process in an efficient and professional manner by ensuring timely delivery of materials and providing data entry tasks for the Procurement Department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties as assigned.

  • Assist and support the procurement process.
  • Confirm and expedite factory purchase orders.
  • Maintain system integrity on supplier updates
  • Monitor and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
  • Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Identify and escalate issues with late deliveries or order discrepancies.
  • Comply with the Company’s Quality Management System.
  • Comply with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) as required.

Requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • A minimum of 1-year relevant experience.
  • Oracle experience a plus.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be a U.S. Person defined as: U.S. Citizen, Any individual granted U.S. permanent residence, granted status as a “protected person” under 8 U.S.C. 132b (a) (3); corporation/business/organization/group incorporated in the U.S under U.S law; or part of the U.S. government.
  • Written and verbal communication.
  • Planning and time management.
  • Problem solving or research skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships.
  • Clerical Skills
  • Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job the employee is often required to stand, sit, use computers, read, write, type, use fax machines, use copy machines, file paperwork, use telephones, and utilize written and oral communication to interact with clients, co-workers and customers. WORKING CONDITIONS:

Position is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as in typical office or administrative work.)
