Leader in disaster restoration is looking for an Estimator for our mitigation division.

The right candidate will have the following skills/responsibilities:

- Uphold our high standards of excellent customer service, communication, and timeliness

- Write timely, accurate and comprehensive estimates for restoration and construction projects. Effectively negotiate estimates and proper scope with adjusters with high success.

- Ensure profitability by accurately capturing all scope and costs with an eye towards net margin

-Work with project managers on awarded estimates with scopes and timelines.

Experience, Skills & Abilities:

- Years of onsite construction experience in multiple trades for better understanding of actual estimate costs and labor needs.

- At least 2 years experience writing, negotiating, and selling estimates with Xactimate in the disaster restoration field

- Knowledge of water, fire and mold mitigation, cleaning, environmental, and full repairs on a wide variety of structures

- Knowledge of residential/ commercial construction, with an emphasis on remodel projects

- Strong attention to detail

- Organized

- Excellent customer service skills

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Computer literacy, primarily with MS Office products

- Must be a self-starter that has the ability to both work autonomously and with a team

- Understands the role of an excellent estimator in the process of claims management from the start of mitigation until the end of repairs

- Presentable clean cut appearance with a great attitude and career minded

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
