Job Description

Title: Program Manager III

Location & Onsite Expectations: 4 days in Stamford, CT

Contract Expectations: 6-month contract (opportunity for extension come new year)

Brooksource is seeking a Program Manager III to join a Fortune 50 Telecommunications Company within their Location Lifecycle Management (LLM) team. This group ensures all location-specific attributes are accurate and available to support marketing and sales efforts, with a primary focus on government-awarded area builds. The Program Manager will play a key role in ensuring regulatory readiness, minimizing customer friction, and aligning project delivery with the company’s broader strategic initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5–10 years of experience in program and project management within IT or enterprise environments.
  • Strong background in managing governance controls, budgets, risks, and schedules.
  • Proven ability to coordinate across multiple workstreams and departments.
  • Experience working in large-scale, high-visibility enterprise programs.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Preferred: MS SQL, SharePoint, and industry-specific knowledge.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage one or more highly complex or enterprise-wide IT programs consisting of multiple projects.
  • Align program execution to broader business goals and strategic initiatives.
  • Plan, implement, and monitor program schedules from inception through delivery.
  • Define and report program roadmaps, development issues, success metrics, and overall status.
  • Identify and monitor risks, while proactively addressing interdependencies across projects.
  • Coordinate communication and resource utilization across multiple departments and teams.
  • Build and manage program budgets while identifying opportunities to improve cost, performance, and schedule.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement and drive satisfaction across internal and external groups.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends, business conditions, and internal processes impacting projects.
  • Deliver reporting (60%), perform analysis (25%), and create presentations/communications (15%) to leadership.
