We are seeking experienced, highly motivated Class A Over-the-Road (OTR) Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Drivers to join our dedicated transportation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a tractor-trailer truck (Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of 26,001 pounds or greater) across designated routes, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Vehicle Operation & Safety:
• • Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations (DOT) and company policies.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment (DVIRs), promptly reporting any defects or issues to maintenance and dispatch.
• Logistics & Compliance:
• • Accurately track and maintain electronic and/or paper activity logs, ensuring proper documentation of hours of service (HOS) and all required documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route updates, delivery schedules, and any issues or incidents encountered on the road.
• Cargo Management:
• • Oversee the proper loading and unloading of freight, securing cargo to prevent damage during transit.
  • Verify shipment documentation to ensure accuracy of orders and deliveries.
• Physical Demands:
• • Ability to safely and efficiently handle the physical demands associated with loading, unloading, and securing cargo.

Required Qualifications

• Licensure: Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) .
• Experience: Proven, verifiable experience operating a commercial motor vehicle (tractor-trailer) is essential. Related experience in logistics or transportation fields will be considered.
• Skills:
• • Excellent driving record and knowledge of DOT regulations.
  • Strong commitment to safety and a diligent work ethic.
  • Ability to perform the physical tasks required to handle the equipment and cargo.
• Compliance: Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and DOT physical.
