RPh on the Go is partnering with a leading healthcare organization in Cedar Rapids to hire an experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) . This role is ideal for a strong pharmacy leader ready to oversee daily operations, drive strategic initiatives, and maintain clinical and regulatory excellence. A Direct-Hire transition is available for qualified candidates.

Schedule:

• Day shift schedule
• Must be willing to provide 24-hour direction to employees and pharmacy services as the PIC

Term of Assignment: 13+ weeks Travel Contract, Contract-to-Hire, or Direct-Hire (Flexible)

Job Duties:

• Ensure adequate staffing levels to maintain scheduled hours of operation
• Step in to perform duties of pharmacy personnel when needed
• Provide direct oversight of all dispensing activities for pharmaceuticals, supplies, and equipment
• Ensure compliance with PROMPTCARE policies, state and federal regulations, and accreditation standards
• Assist with developing, reviewing, and revising policies and procedures
• Oversee orientation, training, and competency development for pharmacy staff
• Participate in on-site inspections, survey readiness, and accreditation processes
• Communicate effectively with staff and leadership; work at a computer for extended periods; perform occasional lifting, filing, bending, and standing tasks

Requirements:

• B.S. or PharmD from an accredited School of Pharmacy
• Active Iowa Pharmacist License (additional state licenses a plus)
• 4+ years of recent clinical pharmacy experience
• Home Infusion experience required
• 2+ years of recent clinical pharmacy management experience
• Knowledge of CPR+ software preferred
