Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.
- Apply paint using airless paint spraying techniques and other methods to achieve desired finishes.
- Operate power tools and hand tools for painting and assembly tasks.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes through lean manufacturing principles.
- Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and organized manner.
- Assist in machining tasks as needed, demonstrating mechanical knowledge throughout the process.
- Utilize cranes for moving large components safely during the painting process.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in industrial painting or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with auto body repair techniques is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various power tools and hand tools effectively.
- Basic math skills for measuring and mixing paint accurately.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
