A leading industrial services company is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily service operations, scheduling, logistics, safety, and workforce performance. This role ensures that field and service teams deliver high-quality work safely, efficiently, and profitably while maintaining strong communication with customers and internal partners.
Lead daily operations for service, field, and administrative teams.
Oversee scheduling, dispatching, workflow execution, and service delivery.
Monitor KPIs including productivity, labor utilization, backlog, response times, and profitability.
Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and industry standards.
Support technicians through coaching, jobsite walk-throughs, and issue resolution.
Hire, train, and mentor field staff, supervisors, and coordinators.
Maintain strong customer relationships and serve as a point of escalation when needed.
Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
Review purchase orders, job costs, work orders, and invoicing.
Support budgeting, forecasting, labor planning, and process improvements.
5+ years of operations leadership experience in industrial service, crane service, mechanical, heavy equipment, or related fields.
Experience in crane/hoist environments is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of field service workflows, scheduling, and resource planning.
Technical aptitude, mechanical, electrical, or industrial background preferred.
Proficiency with service management systems and MS Office.
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methods.
Strong communication, customer service, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Ability to travel occasionally to job sites.
Must meet background check and drug screen requirements.
Combination of office and field settings; may involve occasional exposure to heights, loud environments, and outdoor conditions. PPE is provided.
