Great Basin Staffing LLC is seeking a  full-time BIM Operator for an immediate opening with a leading electrical contractor in  Salt Lake City, UT . This is a long-term opportunity for a motivated candidate with a passion for construction technology and digital modeling to join a growing  VDC/Preconstruction team .

• Develop BIM models for electrical systems, including telecom, fire alarm, and security as needed
• Implement and follow  project BIM Execution Plans , including LOD and client standards
• Coordinate with  project managers, engineers, foremen, and general contractors to resolve design issues and support constructability
• Generate  accurate shop drawings, plan sets, and schedules
• Assist in developing and maintaining  company BIM standards
• Attend project meetings and provide technical input as required
• Support project delivery across multiple phases and teams

• Working knowledge of  Revit, Navisworks, or Revizto
• Understanding of  electrical system design , with the ability to read single-line diagrams and plan sets
• Experience working with  cloud-based model coordination
• Strong communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills
• Proficiency in  Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Associate degree in drafting/design or  Autodesk Certification preferred
• 2+ years of  electrical BIM modeling experience (MEP experience strongly preferred)

• Pay Range: $75,000 – $85,000 annually, based on experience
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday (early out on Fridays)
