Pride Health is hiring a MRI Technologist to support our client’s medical facility in Dayton/Columbus, OH . This is a 13-week assignment (with the Possibility of extension or conversion) and a great opportunity to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Job Title: MRI Technologist
Location: Dayton, OH 45409
Shift: Monday – Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (12:30 PM – 9:00 PM) or 3x12 Nights both options available
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40/36
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic MRI procedures independently, ensuring proper technique and patient care.
- Administer contrast media within the scope of practice and licensure.
- Coordinate patient flow and radiology department activities.
- Maintain equipment in good working condition.
- Float as needed within specialty clusters, including support on high-risk respiratory/COVID units.
- May assist with procedures in other imaging modalities based on department needs.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Allied Health, majoring in Radiologic Technology
- Active ARRT certification and ODH licensure
- Current BLS certification (AHA required)
- Minimum 2 years MRI experience in a large hospital (Level 1 preferred, Level 2 acceptable)
- Experience with GE MRI equipment
- Epic charting experience required
- Ability to wear N95 mask (fit testing provided) or PAPR when working on HRRU unit
