Our institution is experiencing rapid growth! We are building our capacity by hiring an experienced mortgage loan processor for our highly productive and skilled lending team. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the loan process, from origination to close, while paying close attention to the compliance of current lending policies and regulations. $20 - $25 hourly

• Obtain property documentation to process mortgage loan files, including appraisals, inspections, title searches, site surveys, contracts, and property tax records
• Assist borrowers in determining the best mortgage type based on interview and situation
• Ensure loan files meet lending and regulatory guidelines and policies
• Input detailed loan process documentation in our system - from origination to close
• Decide the creditworthiness and complete the mortgage loan application by working with the borrower to obtain necessary and verified financial documentation, such as credit reports

• Superb analytical skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Mortgage lending experience and loan knowledge required, specifically with FHA, FHLB, FNMA, or VA loans
• 2 years minimum experience in loan processing required

• Preferred Candidate will have an expert-level understanding of Encompass (LOS)
• Required in-office hours and must be within reasonable driving distance to the 76015 zip code
